We are looking for a proactive and business-oriented Legal & Compliance Associate to join our Legal & Compliance team.

How You'll make an Impact

This role is ideal for legal professionals who enjoy working at the intersection of technology, data, AI, and financial services. You will support commercial transactions, data privacy compliance, regulatory initiatives, and legal operations while partnering closely with Product, Business, Partnership, and Information Security teams.

The successful candidate will play a key role in enabling business growth while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, particularly in the areas of data protection, AI governance, fintech, and emerging technology.

What You'll Do

• Support commercial contracting activities, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, execution, and record management of legal agreements.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to provide practical legal and compliance advice.
• Assist with data protection, regulatory compliance, and risk management initiatives.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the company's business.
• Prepare, coordinate, and maintain legal and compliance documentation, regulatory filings, internal approvals, and corporate records as required.
• Support new products, partnerships, and strategic business initiatives from a legal perspective.
• Help develop and improve legal processes, templates, policies, and internal knowledge resources.
• Participate in legal operations and technology-driven initiatives to enhance team efficiency.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized university.
• At least 4 years of experience in Legal, Compliance, or Legal & Compliance roles.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Strong understanding of contract law and general corporate/commercial legal matters.
• Experience in technology, fintech, SaaS, AI, data analytics, digital banking, or eKYC industries.
• Good English communication and drafting skills (written and spoken).
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with personal data protection regulations, privacy compliance, or data governance frameworks.
• Experience supporting DPIAs, DPAs, privacy reviews, or regulatory compliance projects.
• Exposure to Legal Operations, workflow automation, contract management systems, or AI-assisted legal tools.
• Experience working in a multinational or high-growth technology company.
