Key Account / Partnership Manager – POS Channel (HCM)

Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam | Partnership | Full-time

Apply

Trusting Social is an AI Fintech pioneer that's revolutionizing credit access in emerging markets. Our mission is "Advancing AI to Meet the Financial Needs of Everyday Consumers with Empathy." We've assessed over 1 billion consumers across four countries, and we're on a mission to provide 100 million credit lines using the power of AI and Big Data.

How You'll Make an Impact

You'll own the full commercial relationship with a portfolio of key POS partners across Vietnam — driving disbursement volume, revenue, and market share through the channel. From building joint business plans and running campaigns to monitoring performance and coordinating with Risk, Credit, IT, Collections, and Customer Service, you turn partner relationships into sustainable growth and retention.

This role is a fit if you've managed partnerships or key accounts in consumer finance, banking, or POS-channel sales — and you like moving early: reading performance signals before they become problems, connecting what Risk can approve, what IT can build, and what partners need, and rethinking a program the moment the numbers say it's no longer working.

What You'll Do

Partner Growth & Revenue Ownership

  • Own volume, revenue, market share, and budget for assigned key accounts — accountable end-to-end, not just for activity.
  • Design comprehensive, data-informed business plans with strategic partners at head-office level; calibrate promotions to partner economics and lending targets.
  • Negotiate trading terms and subvention campaigns; evaluate pre- and post-execution performance, building from evidence.

Business Plan Execution

  • Work closely with regional POS teams to deploy plans on time, at quality, and in compliance; monitor NPM, loss rate, COA, and product setup across the portfolio.
  • Coordinate with Risk, IT, PO, and Customer Service to handle activities correctly, resolve ad-hoc issues, and prevent fraud.
  • Identify system integration opportunities with partners to improve productivity and reduce manual friction.

Partner Relationship & Satisfaction

  • Build trust-based relationships with strategic partner HOs — retention, pipeline depth, and partner satisfaction are measurable outcomes, not background tasks.
  • Collect partner and customer feedback systematically; handle complaints with full ownership and close the loop across departments.
  • Onboard new accounts through accurate proposals, structured project documents, and clear presentations.

Market Intelligence & New Business

  • Analyze the competitive landscape continuously; synthesize market signals into action plans that support sales and market share targets.
  • Identify new segments, partners, and client groups; contribute to new product launches, process improvements, and system optimizations.

What We're Looking For

Experience & Background

  • Minimum 2 years in partnership management, key account management, or business development — consumer finance, banking, or POS-channel sales preferred.
  • University degree or above in Business Administration, Finance & Banking, Foreign Trade, or a related field.
  • Startup or tech-adjacent background is a strong plus.

How You Work

  • You synthesize partner data, channel metrics, and competitive signals into clear decisions — not summaries, but actual calls.
  • You take initiative before being directed; when a campaign underperforms or a partner signals friction, you already have a response ready.
  • You connect knowledge across functions — what Risk knows, what IT can build, what partners need — and act as the bridge that makes things move.
  • You leverage AI as a real work tool — craft clear prompts, evaluate outputs critically, and apply AI to expand scope and improve personal productivity.
  • You challenge how partnership programs have always been structured; not bound by previous models when the data points elsewhere.

Skills & Competencies

  • Business Owner — Takes full COA accountability for assigned accounts; makes commercial calls without waiting for central approval when the window is open.
  • Relationship Manager — Partner retention, pipeline growth, and trust are tracked outcomes; clients stay because the relationship adds measurable value.
  • Domain Expert — Deep working knowledge of consumer finance products, POS channel dynamics, and subvention mechanics; able to coach internal teams and partners on how it works.
  • Analytical and logical reasoning skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong English communication skills (spoken and written — professional fluency required).
  • High adaptability and comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
