Trusting Social is a global fintech company that partners with banks and financial institutions across Southeast Asia and beyond to unlock credit access for hundreds of millions of underserved consumers. We build AI-powered products — from eKYC and credit scoring to digital banking enablement — that help our partners grow responsibly and at scale. If you want to work at the intersection of data science, financial services, and real social impact, this is the team.

How You'll Make an Impact

As an Account Manager, you own a meaningful portfolio of strategic financial institution clients and are accountable for the revenue, health, and expansion of every relationship in it. You sit at the center of a complex web — client executives, internal product and delivery teams, legal, and leadership — and you make that web move in a coherent direction. You drive renewals, grow account value, and identify where the next opportunity lives before the client has fully articulated it.

You bring seniority of judgment, not just seniority of title. You make decisions without waiting for central approval, read the metrics before walking into a meeting, and operate with a long view of what a relationship can become. You mentor junior team members not by holding their hands but by modeling what excellence looks like — how to run a QBR, how to handle a difficult negotiation, how to turn a service complaint into an expansion conversation.

What You'll Do

Portfolio Ownership and Revenue Growth

  • Own the full commercial relationship for a defined portfolio of strategic accounts — renewals, expansions, upsells, and new product introductions.
  • Develop and execute account plans that identify growth levers, key stakeholder maps, and commercial milestones over a 12-month horizon.
  • Forecast accurately and track account metrics — quarterly revenue, NRR, expansion pipeline — with the rigor of a business owner, not a reporter.

Strategic Client Engagement

  • Build and sustain trusted advisor relationships with executive and C-level stakeholders at client organizations, not just operational contacts.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews that go beyond status updates — bring data-informed recommendations, challenge assumptions, and position Trusting Social as a strategic partner, not a vendor.
  • Anticipate client needs before they surface as escalations; synthesize signals from multiple touchpoints into a coherent picture of account health.

New Business Development Within Accounts

  • Identify and develop expansion opportunities — new use cases, adjacent products, additional geographies — by deeply understanding each client's strategic priorities and organizational dynamics.
  • Collaborate with the AE team and product to bring new solutions to existing clients in a way that is genuinely additive, not just cross-sell for its own sake.

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Serve as the accountable owner for delivery outcomes on your accounts — not doing the delivery yourself, but holding the full chain together: product, engineering, legal, finance.
  • Escalate issues early and with full context; resolve them with the authority of someone who owns the relationship end-to-end.

Team Development

  • Mentor Account Executives on pipeline management, deal strategy, and client communication — not as a secondary responsibility, but as a lever for team-wide performance.
  • Share market intelligence and account insights in a structured way that helps the broader BD team calibrate its approach.

What We're Looking For

Experience and Background

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in account management, enterprise sales, or client success, with a demonstrated track record of owning and growing strategic accounts.
  • Deep familiarity with the financial services sector — credit, lending, digital banking, or fintech products — and a genuine ability to engage at the level of a domain expert with banking executives.
  • Proven history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets on a portfolio basis, including renewals, expansions, and new logo introductions.
  • Experience leading complex negotiations and closing multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

How You Work

  • You are fluent in AI tools and use them to do more, not just faster — you use AI to synthesize signals, stress-test your account strategy, draft executive-level communications, and evaluate proposals critically before they leave your desk.
  • You have a genuine bias for action: when an account shows a risk signal or an upsell signal, you are already moving before anyone asks you to. You do not wait for the quarterly report to surface what you already know.
  • You connect naturally across domains — you can discuss credit risk underwriting in one conversation, review an integration architecture in the next, and then synthesize both into a clear recommendation for a client executive.
  • You grow yourself deliberately: you seek coaching, study accounts post-mortem, and apply what you learn to the next cycle. You challenge the status quo in how account management is practiced and experiment with approaches that are not bound by how things have always been done.
  • You communicate with the precision and intentionality of someone who knows their words shape relationships. You listen carefully, you are aware of downstream impact, and you never confuse activity for progress.
  • You are comfortable operating in ambiguity and can make sound calls under conditions where the playbook does not cover the situation.

Skills and Competencies

  • Business Owner — You treat your portfolio as your P&L. You make calls without waiting for direction, hold yourself accountable end-to-end for revenue outcomes, and flag risks to leadership before they become crises.
  • Relationship Manager — You build trust with multiple layers of client organizations over time, not just during renewal conversations. You listen before acting, are mindful of downstream impact, and invest in relationships that outlast individual deals.
  • Domain Expert — You bring a deep and current understanding of the financial technology landscape to every client conversation. You read the market, synthesize competitive intelligence, and position Trusting Social's solutions with the confidence of someone who genuinely knows the space.
  • Strong English communication skills (spoken and written — professional fluency required).
  • High adaptability and comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
