How You'll Make an Impact

Based in Manila, you will own the design, development, and commercial performance of our consumer lending and credit card products in the Philippines.

As we progress through licensing and move toward operational launch, you will translate market opportunities, partner requirements, and regulatory constraints into well-defined, profitable products that customers love to use.

You will own the full product lifecycle—from concept and business case through specification, launch, and post-launch optimization—across:

  • On-us credit cards

  • Co-branded credit cards

  • Co-lending products

  • Personal loans

  • Cash loans

A core responsibility of this role is developing financial models and P&L analyses that support product decisions and demonstrate risk-adjusted profitability.

Working closely with Risk, Finance, Engineering, Partnerships, and external banking and platform partners, you will build products that balance customer value, commercial performance, and responsible lending.

This is a hands-on builder role suited for someone who thrives in a lean, fast-moving, and license-pending environment.

Mission of the Role

To define, build, and grow a portfolio of credit card and lending products that are commercially viable, operationally sound, and compliant.

You will own each product's P&L, unit economics, and roadmap while ensuring every launch is backed by a sound financial case and a clearly defined customer need.

As Product Manager, you will serve as the bridge between commercial strategy, partner requirements, risk appetite, and technical delivery—transforming complex opportunities into successful, profitable products.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned credit card and lending products.

  • Translate market opportunities, partner needs, and competitive insights into a prioritized product backlog.

  • Define product positioning, target customer segments, and value propositions across on-us, co-branded, co-lending, and personal/cash loan products.

  • Balance short-term launch priorities with long-term portfolio growth and platform scalability.

2. Financial Modeling & P&L Ownership

  • Build and maintain product-level financial models covering revenue, cost of funds, credit losses, fees, and operating costs.

  • Own the product P&L and unit economics, tracking actual performance against plan and explaining key variances.

  • Develop business cases and pricing scenarios for new products, features, and partnerships, including sensitivity and break-even analyses.

  • Model interest income, interchange revenue, late fees, other fee income, ECL/provisioning impact, and partner revenue-sharing arrangements.

  • Partner closely with Finance to align product models with corporate forecasts and reporting.

3. Credit Card & Lending Product Expertise

  • Apply deep knowledge of credit card and lending product mechanics, including billing cycles, interest accrual, minimum payments, credit limits, amortization, tenors, and fee structures.

4. Product Delivery & Execution

  • Write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Maintain product specifications throughout the delivery lifecycle.

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, and platform partners (e.g., Card Management Systems and Loan Management Systems) to deliver features on time and according to specifications.

  • Coordinate end-to-end product launches, including UAT, go-to-market readiness, and rollout sequencing within network and licensing constraints.

  • Define product success metrics and ensure features are properly instrumented for post-launch performance measurement.

5. Partner & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary product contact for bank, BIN sponsor, and platform partners regarding product scope and requirements.

  • Translate commercial agreements and partner term sheets into actionable product features and roadmaps.

  • Align stakeholders across Commercial, Risk, Finance, Compliance, and Operations on product decisions and trade-offs.

  • Support partnership negotiations by providing product feasibility assessments and financial impact analyses.

6. Compliance & Risk Alignment

  • Incorporate Risk and Compliance requirements into product design from the outset.

  • Partner with Risk to define credit policies, pricing, and limit frameworks within approved risk thresholds.

  • Maintain product documentation to support audits, governance approvals, and regulatory reviews.

7. Performance Monitoring & Optimization

  • Monitor key product KPIs, including acquisition, activation, usage, balances, delinquency, and profitability.

  • Identify opportunities to optimize pricing, product features, and customer experience using data-driven insights.

  • Conduct experiments and A/B testing where appropriate to improve conversion, engagement, and financial performance.
