Trusting Social is looking for a Security Operations Engineer Intern to join the Information Security Department. This role is a great opportunity for students or fresh graduates who are passionate about cybersecurity, automation, and emerging AI-driven security technologies.
As part of the SecOps team, you will support the implementation, operation, monitoring, and improvement of security solutions that protect our users, devices, systems, and data. You will also have the opportunity to learn how modern security teams use AI, automation, and intelligent workflows to detect threats faster, reduce manual effort, and improve response effectiveness.
This role is especially suitable for candidates who are curious about how security tools work, how AI can support operational security, and how new automation workflows or AI agents can be tested and applied in real environments.

What You'll Do

• Support the implementation, operation, and troubleshooting of security solutions such as Endpoint Security, DLP, Email Security, Zero Trust Network Access, Web Security, and related monitoring tools.
• Assist in monitoring endpoint and user security events, including suspicious activities, malware alerts, risky browser behavior, policy violations, and possible unauthorized access attempts.
• Assist in testing and validating security controls designed to prevent malicious website access, unauthorized data transfer, unsafe application usage, and risky browsing activities.
• Learn and contribute to security detection, triage, and operational response workflows with guidance from senior team members.
• Support the team in building or improving automation scripts, technical utilities, and operational workflows to reduce repetitive manual work.
• Explore how AI tools, automation platforms, and AI agents can be applied to improve alert analysis, evidence collection, investigation speed, and security operations efficiency.
• Assist in evaluating and testing new security technologies, automation workflows, or AI-driven solutions for possible use in SecOps operations.
• Work closely with other security and IT teams to support continuous improvement of operational security controls.

What We're Looking For

• Final-year student, fresh graduate, or early-career candidate in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Interest in AI for cybersecurity, including basic awareness of how AI tools, large language models, automation platforms, or AI agents can support security operations.
• Curious mindset and willingness to learn how modern security teams use automation and AI-enhanced workflows to replace legacy manual tasks.
• Basic knowledge of one or more scripting or automation tools such as Python, SQL, PowerShell, Bash, or low-code/no-code automation platforms is a plus.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
• Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and contribute to a fast-moving and innovation-driven environment.
