How you will make an impact in this role

As a Partnership Manager at Trusting Social, you will be responsible for leveraging the resources and capabilities of Trusting Social with external partners, which can expand both parties' reach or offer new products and services. You will manage these relationships including identifying potential partners, negotiating terms of the partnership, monitoring performance, and ensuring both parties are meeting the obligations under the agreement.

What you will do

  • Building and maintaining a strong relationship with the stakeholders in Telcos at all levels across hierarchy and functional domains.
  • Working with both Telco team and internal team to track and report progress to both the Telco and Trusting Social on the key metrics that define the success of the partnership, business development and project implementation. 
  • Identifying and fleshing out new opportunities that build on our strengths and help Telcos address their pain points and growth agenda.
  • Coordinating and Responding to any ‘Requests for Information/Proposal’ that a Telco may initiate in which Trusting Social spots an opportunity to further its cause.
  • Working with external partners to develop new business opportunities in existing markets or developing new markets for products or services.
  • Identifying potential partners based on business needs, goals, and current partnerships.
  • Negotiating terms of partnership agreements to ensure that both parties are meeting their obligations and benefitting from the relationship.
  • Establishing new business relationships with potential partners to create mutually beneficial arrangements.

What you need to have 

Minimum

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in business development, partnership and/or account management.
  • Having experience in working with Telcos, understanding how the Telcos company operates would be a big plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience in project management.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship skills backed up by references.
  • Demonstrated strength in problem solving and analytics and capable of driving insights into action.
  • Good understanding of the fintech ecosystem & technology and financial markets, especially in emerging markets.
  • Excellent English fluency
  • Good interpersonal and people management skills.

Preferred but not a must

  • Relevant experience in consumer lending business or e-commerce
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and influencing skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and build strong and productive relationships.
  • Have a strong understanding of business and marketing, as well as excellent communication skills.
