What You’ll Be Doing:
As Country Director for Trusting Social Vietnam, you will be at the forefront of driving our business operations in Vietnam. You’ll lead the strategic direction, build impactful partnerships, and oversee all aspects of our Vietnam operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Business Strategy: Develop and implement the overall business strategy for Vietnam, ensuring alignment with our global objectives and long-term growth goals.
- Drive Revenue Growth: Identify new opportunities to increase revenue through strategic partnerships, client acquisition, and innovative product offerings.
- Oversee Operations: Manage day-to-day operations, including product development, sales, marketing, customer success, and financial performance.
- Build a High-Performing Team: Inspire, mentor, and lead a dynamic team that embraces a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Foster Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government regulators, industry associations, and key clients (banks, fintech companies).
- Innovate and Disrupt: Use deep market insights to drive product innovation, identifying unmet needs and delivering disruptive solutions.
- Represent Trusting Social: Act as the face of Trusting Social at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Monitor Competitive Landscape: Keep a pulse on industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to adjust strategies as needed.
- Financial Management: Oversee the P&L for the country, ensuring the business remains profitable and meets financial targets.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for an experienced leader with deep knowledge of the consumer financial services industry in Vietnam and a proven ability to drive results.
Required Qualifications:
- Leadership Experience: 15+ years in banking, consulting, fintech, or related industries, with at least 10 years in senior leadership roles (C-suite or minus one).
- Proven Impact: Demonstrated success in driving business growth, leading teams, and developing innovative financial products.
- Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the Vietnamese consumer lending market, including credit cards, cash loans, and the regulatory landscape.
- Strong Network: Established relationships with key stakeholders in the Vietnamese government, financial institutions, and fintech sector.
- Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Fluent in Vietnamese & English: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience managing or growing technology-driven businesses.
- Background in data analytics and its application in financial services.
- Experience working with startups or high-growth companies.
