The Machine Learning Engineering team is at the core of our efforts to develop and deploy cutting-edge conversational AI systems powered by multi-agent architectures and large language models (LLM). We work closely with our research team to optimize and scale the deployment of our state-of-the-art models, ensuring that our conversational AI systems are efficient, scalable, and able to handle complex, multi-turn interactions.

As a Machine Learning Engineer focused on multi-agent systems and LLMs, you will be responsible for optimizing and scaling our conversational AI models that involve multiple agents collaborating to provide intelligent and coherent responses. You will work on techniques such as model parallelism, distributed training, and efficient serving of large language models. Additionally, you will integrate speech-to-text and text-to-speech capabilities into our conversational AI systems, enabling seamless voice-based interactions.

Our multi-agent conversational AI systems are designed to handle a wide range of applications, including customer support, virtual assistants, and domain-specific voicebot. By optimizing and scaling our models, you will contribute to creating more engaging, personalized, and human-like conversational experiences.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the research and development team to understand the architecture and requirements of our conversational AI models.
• Optimize conversational AI models using techniques such as quantization, pruning, and distillation to reduce model size and latency.
• Implement and integrate optimized models into our production systems, ensuring seamless deployment and operation.
• Scale our model serving infrastructure to support high concurrency and handle increasing user traffic.
• Conduct performance testing, benchmarking, and profiling to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning optimization and model serving technologies.
• Mentor and guide junior machine learning engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for machine learning engineering within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master's or degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on machine learning or artificial intelligence.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges.
• 3+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering, with a strong emphasis on model optimization and serving.
• Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Expertise in model optimization techniques such as quantization, pruning, and distillation.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in developing and deploying machine learning models; experience in asynchronous programming with asyncio for handling concurrent and asynchronous operations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualification

• Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) techniques and their application in conversational AI.
• Experience in scaling machine learning model serving using technologies like Kubernetes, or Nvidia TensorRT, vLLM.
