How you will make an impact in this role

As a Head of Product at Trusting Social, you will be responsible for decision-making and prioritization for his backlog. You will work with markets, compliance, and engineering leaders to convert the product vision into a well-managed development roadmap with a set release cycle. You will be the product owner to deliver next-generation product offerings to our customers. You will play a key role in ideating and co-creating new features and products that uniquely meet the needs of Trusting Social’s partners and customers.

The Head of Product will report to and assist the Country Director.

What you will do

  • Full ownership of product strategy, vision, and roadmap.

  • Deliver a world-class product tailored to specific clients through stakeholder collaboration.

  • Scale up business by forecasting opportunities and pre-build the exemplary service for the right market with available technology.

  • Proactively engage in the end-to-end product cycle of research, development, testing, deployment, and improvement.

  • Understand client's use cases and provide consultancy on how to apply product suites for their business.

What you need to have 

Minimum

  • Experienced as head of product with a technology company or financial services

  • Proven ability to build cross-functional consensus among internal and external stakeholders to drive business results.

  • Expertise in risk & fraud management for consumer lending.

  • Experience in managing end-to-end processes of unsecured lending products.

  • Relevant experience in credit card or consumer lending business.

  • Effective team player who can work well with colleagues across the organization.

  • Capability to zoom in and out of a problem.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially under pressure, with a focus on customer empathy and rapid & precise responses.

  • Hardworking and enthusiastic attitude.

  • Fluent in English, good interpersonal and people management skills.

Preferred 

  • Strong technical background with good knowledge of APIs and banking applications.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate user requirements across diverse functional areas into a compelling product vision.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and influencing skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
