The role will encompass the planning, development, implementation, and assessment of our human resource function and performance in Vietnam. As the HR Director, you will have complete ownership of Human Resources, providing leadership and strategic guidance in various critical areas. This role is pivotal for the organization, demanding a seasoned professional with an extensive background in HR management, especially within the technology sector. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner to our senior management team, driving the alignment of our HR strategy with the overall business objectives. Responsibilities

The HR Director will act as an employee champion and a leader of change. You will plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's human resource function and performance in Vietnam.  Specifically, you will:

  • Complete ownership of Human Resources functions 
  • Function as a strategic, human capital business advisor to the senior management team
  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive Human Resources strategy that integrates and closely aligns with the business strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with and work collaboratively across teams to identify and solve problems and achieve organizational goals.
  • Design and deliver HR processes and programs including performance management, employee compensation & benefits, career development, and other processes.
  • Oversee benefit and compensation plans to ensure cost efficiencies and attractiveness to retain top talent
  • Ensure that all HR policies and programs are compliant with the regulatory requirements in each jurisdiction. Address any non-compliance matters on a timely and effective basis.
  • Provide expertise and oversight in the following areas: employee on-boarding, off-boarding, and engagement; career development, performance management, coaching, compensation and rewards, employee relations, learning and development, and company compliance.
  • Report to senior management by analyzing data and using HR metrics

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience, with the most recent role as HR Head or in a similar senior role. MBA in HR preferred but not a show stopper for the right candidate. 
  • Experience with Technology companies and/or Tech Start-up is a must. 
  • Should have played a key role in the rapid scale-up of an IT services/Technology firm. 
  • Strong experience in policy making, talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, and employee engagement. 
  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations 
  • Strong endorsement from previous managers and peers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in English and Vietnamese
  • Highly flexible, adaptable individual with a can-do attitude. 
  • Experience in dealing with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude. 
  • High-stress tolerance, can work well under pressure and the tight deadline
