Role introduction

The Junior Graphic Designer will support the marketing team in creating visually compelling and on-brand graphics for various digital and print materials. This role is ideal for an early-career designer looking to gain experience in a fast-paced B2B fintech environment. You will work closely with marketing and product managers to translate complex financial concepts into clear and engaging visuals.

Responsibilities:

  • Design Execution:

    • Create visually appealing graphics for website banners, social media posts, email marketing campaigns, presentations, infographics, and other marketing materials.

    • Assist in the design and production of print materials such as brochures, flyers, and event signage.

    • Adapt existing designs for various platforms and formats while maintaining brand consistency.

    • Develop and maintain a library of visual assets, including icons, illustrations, and stock imagery.

  • Brand Management:

    • Adhere to and enforce brand guidelines across all design projects.

    • Maintain a consistent visual identity across all marketing channels.

    • Contribute to the development and refinement of brand style guides.

  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with marketing managers, product managers to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality designs.

    • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.

    • Provide and receive constructive feedback on design concepts.

    • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

    • Basic understanding of web design principles and best practices.

    • Ability to create and optimize graphics for various digital platforms.

    • Knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout principles.

    • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma or Canva is a plus.

    • Basic video editing skills are a plus.

  • Fintech Industry Awareness:

    • Begin to gain an understanding of the fintech industry and its specific design needs.

    • Learn how to translate complex financial concepts into clear and concise visuals.

    • Stay up-to-date on design trends and best practices in the fintech sector.

Must-Have Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creative abilities.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with motion graphics or video editing.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Experience designing for B2B companies.
