How You’ll  Make an Impact

Trusting Social Philippines is looking for a Business Development Manager. You will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, and shaping go-to-market strategies. You will represent the company to clients and partners, promote the brand at industry events, and collaborate closely with internal teams to refine offerings and ensure competitive positioning. Your market insights and relationship-building skills will directly influence revenue generation, market expansion, and long-term strategic success.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and nurture existing accounts, ensuring strong client relationships and satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our eKYC and credit scoring products within existing accounts and to other verticals. 
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for our eKYC and credit scoring solutions. 
  • Utilize your banking or lending network and other relevant industries to identify and engage potential clients. 
  • Leverage industry connections to expand our customer base and open new business opportunities. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns for potential clients. 
  • Conduct high-level meetings and presentations with key decision-makers in the banking and lending sectors. 
  • Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Work closely with product development to ensure our offerings meet market demands. 
  • Coordinate with customer support to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery. 
  • Track sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management. 
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.

 

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 

  • A minimum of 10 years in the financial industry, with at least the last 5 years focused on retail banking or consumer finance.
  • Confidence and competence in engaging effectively with top-level executives and stakeholders.
  • Strong business sense with the capability to understand and navigate the bank’s products and market dynamics.
  • Unwavering ethics and the ability to advocate for sound financial decisions and ethical business conduct.
  • Deep understanding of current market conditions and product offerings.
  • Solid grasp of credit risk and strategies for operational improvement.
  • Embraces change with a flexible and proactive approach, taking initiative and driving projects forward in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Displays a keen interest in the fintech ecosystem and financial markets, particularly in emerging markets, to support strategic objectives.
  • Has a strong drive to learn and achieve, with a hunger for growth and adaptability to new initiatives and directions.
  • Utilizes data-driven insights to make informed decisions, enhancing strategic outcomes.
  • Demonstrates excellent fluency in English.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related field (MBA a plus).
  • Proven success in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical and strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
  • Expereience with CRM tools and managing a sales pipeline.
